協力隊の合格が決まって、様々な方に連絡を取っていたところ、
自分には本当にたくさん応援してくれる人がいるんだなぁ、と改めて実感したのでした。
応援してくださっている皆様、本当にありがとうございます！

また、なかなか会えない友人と久々に連絡をし、懐かしい話をしていたら、
結構多くの人がコミュニティサイトに登録していることを発見！
離れている友達の近況を知ることができるのってとっても嬉しい♪

そしてそのコミュニティサイトを通じ、なんと私の派遣予定の都市
マニサレスで青年海外協力隊員として活動中の方を発見！！

早速メールをしてみたら、すぐにお返事を頂く事ができ、マニサレスには
青年海外協力隊員が6人、シニア海外ボランティアが4人、またその奥様が2人も
活動されていることを教えてもらいました。
また、マニサレスは「静かでのんびりした町」なのだそうです♪

もちろん、危険な地域はとても危険なのだという事をその方の日記から
理解したのですが、それは日本でも同じこと。
日本以上に気をつけなくてはいけない事はもちろんですが、
現地の雰囲気を教えてもらえて、とても安心しました。

インターネットを通した人のつながりってやはり凄いですね(^-^)。
でもそれは、バーチャルとリアルがうまく融合した時に始めて良い方向としての威力を発揮するのかもしれません。。。
