Office 2007 なんです
配属先NGOは、現在拡張工事中。
元々、３階建てのかなり大きな建物だけれど、さらに大きくなるそうで。
その工事はまだ継続中なのですが、先月始め辺りに
今までの建物の中に新しいPC教室がオープン。
新品のPCが15台、綺麗に導入されました☆
で、このPC、Microsoft Office2007がインストールされてます。
（日本でだって使ったことないよっ）
さて私、
10月から、配属先職員のPC初心者対象にPC教室を開いています。
（平均年齢50歳くらい？？ドラッグを説明するのが難しい、、、）
教室が始まった当初は、旧PC教室を使っていたのだけれど
こちらはOSがWindows98～WindowsXPまで揃っています (^-^;
（中には日本から援助を受けたPCもあり）
この教室では、Windows98を中心に、元々PCの調子が悪いものも多かったけれど
拡張工事とマニサレスで続いていた大雨の影響で
PC教室に雨漏りする事数回 （＞＜）、
そして、PCは怒ってしまった様で数台は全く使い物にならず、、、

PC教室で雨漏りするなんて信じられない、、、
でも、私が作業しているオフィスでも屋根から水が漏れたそうで
（ちょうど私のいない時間だった）、他職員の新品PCが被害に。
さらに、工事中にオフィスにある大きな窓に棒が何かがぶつかったようで
勤務時間中に大きな窓が割れたんですよっ。
「がしゃんっ」と大きな音がして、怪我するかと思った。。。
今もそこは割れたまま。
PCも窓も、工事会社に弁償してもらえるんだろうか、、、。
あまりにもずさんというかなんというか、、、

話はそれましたが。
旧PC教室がほぼ機能しなくなってしまったので
２週間ほど前から、その新PC教室で教える事になりました。
かなりハイスペックPCなので、動きがサクサクしている☆
私は協力隊員なのか？というくらいのハイレベルな環境でPCを教えているのですが、
問題が１つ。
Office2007って、今までとインターフェイスが全然違うのです。
メニューの概念がすごく変わっていて、初めて見たときは戸惑いました。。。
「挿入」メニューをクリックした時の様子はこんな感じ↓
ネットで日本語の情報を拾い、2007のヘルプのスペイン語と戦いつつある今日この頃。
慣れてしまえば2007の機能は素晴らしいのかもしれないけれど
PC教室特有の、授業中に起きるトラブル、
2007ではまだ全然応用が利かないのでアタフタアタフタ、という感じです。
（そうじゃなくてもスペイン語でうまく説明できずに頭がいっぱいなのにっ）
それに、PC教室の生徒さんの中には自宅にPCを持っている人もいるけれど
Office2007を使っている人なんて皆無。。。
というわけで、2007以前でのインターフェイスも説明しつつ資料を作ってます。
ちなみに。
Office2007で作成されたファイルは、以前のバージョンの互換性を持たせた
ファイル形式で保存しないと、Office2007以下のソフトでは開けません、、、↓↓
もし、「ワードで作ったファイルなのにワードファイルが開けない」、
というような状況になったら、開けないファイルが2007で作成されたファイルかどうかをご確認ください。（拡張子は .doc ではなく、.docx だったりします（数種類あり））
そして、もし2007で作成されたファイルなのだとしたら2007形式のファイルを開くための
プログラム（FileFormatConverters.exe）がマイクロソフトのウェブからダウンロードできるのでインストールしてみてください。

はぁ、頭がスペイン語拒否し始めたので書き始めた日記、思った以上に長くなっちゃいました。。。

この撮影当時に開催されている教室は私のクラスではなくて、秘書養成コースの授業。
生徒さん、綺麗ですよね～♪
ちなみに、白衣を着ている女性は２人いる私のカウンターパート（技術移転者）のうちの一人。
御歳 60歳と少し、、、。
英語の先生でもあります。
PCの知識はほどほどかもしれないけれど、教師経験が長いので説明の仕方に経験を感じ、スペイン語を習いたくなります。
私などより全然経験があり、私から伝えられる事はあるのだろうか、という悩みもまた然り。。
PC系の知識で、伝えられる事があったら伝えよう、と思っています。

雨漏り怖いですね。。突然真上からザバー！なんてドリフみたいに降ってくるのでしょうか。
雨漏りって、建物の修繕の中でも最も難しいものの一つだと本で読みました。
梁を伝って違う所から滲みたり、見た目以上に原因を特定するのが難しいみたいです。
とりあえずPCは机の下、キーボードは透明カバーをかけるとかして防ぐしかないですよね。。
Office 2007はほんと使いづらい、使い辛すぎて触ってないですから。笑
こちらの専門学校にも導入されましたが、ビジネス担当の先生は苦労されてますね。。
スペイン語とPCと建物トラブルで大変ですが、本格的に国際貢献って感じですね！
自分にできるところから無理しないでやっていきましょう。
白衣の方もかおるさんがいたほうが安心できると思ってますよきっと。

PCは机の下、埃よけのカバーもかけてるんですけれどね、、、。
私も雨漏りの様子を見ていたわけではないので定かではないのですが、とにかく大雨続きだったので、マウス端子など端子箇所から水が入ってしまったような気がしています。

とってもご無沙汰しております。
Office 2007 のネタに反応してしまいました。
私の周りでも Office 2007 の UI は 不評 ですね。
中級者から上級者には、自分のしたいことが、すぐに出来ないので、Office 2000 2002 2003 の UIに 戻すソフトウェアが、販売されている程だそうです。
見た目にも拒絶反応を示してしまいますねぇ。
Open Office Org の検討を始める動きもあるとか....。
私は、Vista の エクスプローラに、[一つ上のフォルダへ移動] ボタン が無いのが、一番ショックでした。
活動は、大変と思いますが、無理せず頑張ってくださいね。

初心者にとっては、文字を選択した時にうっすらと表示されるメニューも使いにくいと思います。
次のバージョンはどうなるのか気になりますよね～
